I really underestimate this one at the beginning. I mean, compared to the great Grand Canyon, I thought Zion is just "another famous national park". But I was wrong! Zion was so beautiful and dreamy. Not exaggerating, it was like entering another world.
Di perjalanan kami dari Zion National Park ke Las Vegas, kami sempat mampir ke salah satu state park tertua di US, yaitu Valley of Fire. Tempat ini masuk ke state Nevada dan dikelola oleh pemerintah state, jadi statusnya adalah State Park. Thats why, even sudah punya American Beautiful Pass (pass buat masuk ke national park), kita tetep harus bayar entrance fee $15 per kendaraan saat memasuki wilayah ini.
Here come the star of the show: The Great Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon terletak di Arizona, sekitar 4,5 jam dari Las Vegas. Tapi karena kami ngide ke Joshua Tree National Park dulu, jadilah it took around 6 hours menuju kesini dari California. Sepanjang perjalanan asli sepi banget. It just us with road and the sky. Kami sempet berhenti di rest area buat makan di Wendys and grabbed a coffee before heading to Seligman (the famous route 66) then going straight to Grand Canyon.

Semenjak stay di US pengen BANGET bisa explore National Park yang ada disini. Constrain besar kami saat ini adalah ada bayi 15 bulan yang harus ikut dibawa kemana-mana kita pergi lol. Sedangkan national park kan outdoor, mostly butuh road trip. It took us quite a while before deciding to go. As a parent we worried about his wellbeing during the trip.

At the end we decided to give it a go. If it not going well, at least we tried.
It's been a while! Many things happened in my life lately, but I will force myself to write a lot this year. So anyway, I'm currently staying in New York City. It is fall right now in the city and it is really beautiful (tropical people can't relate fall season lol). Ada banyak opsi kalo mau nyari fall scenic view di New York, but most of it ada di highlands, yang mana sangat sulit dilakukan ketika punya pre-toddler yang lagi aktif-aktifnya. So we tried to hunt it around the city and we found it in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
